The Murtala Muhammed Foundation intensified its advocacy efforts to provide aid to the victims of the devastating floods that ravaged parts of Borno, particularly in Maiduguri. Homes were destroyed, and livelihoods were shattered, leaving many in urgent need of support.
MMF has been on the ground, conducting assessments to determine the most effective ways to assist those affected. From providing relief materials to offering long-term recovery solutions, we are committed to standing with the people of Borno during these difficult times.
How You Can Help:
We urge everyone to join us in bringing hope to the affected communities. Your donations will go directly toward helping flood victims rebuild their lives.

Back-to-School Campaign: Empowering the Next Generation
As the new academic year kicks off, MMF has launched a Back-to-School campaign to support our scholars and students in marginalized communities. Education is the key to breaking the cycle of poverty, and we believe that no child should be left behind due to a lack of resources.
This campaign focuses on providing essential school supplies such as backpacks, uniforms, textbooks, and writing materials. In addition, we are facilitating repairs for damaged desks and chairs to create a conducive learning environment for these children.
How You Can Support:
Help us set these students up for success by donating to our Back-to-School Supply Drive. Together, we can ensure that every child has what they need to thrive academically.

In the month of September, we said goodbye to two exceptional international interns from Harvard’s Center for International Development (CID), who made remarkable contributions to MMF’s mission during their time with us. Disha Ganjegunte focused on producing a comprehensive document that will support ongoing and future initiatives. She also developed research-based frameworks to assess the effectiveness and impact of MMF’s programs.
Ayesha Islam worked extensively on the Education Impact Project, particularly reviewing and strengthening the Education Scholarship Program for Chibok, ensuring we continue to provide quality support to these vulnerable students.
We thank Disha and Ayesha for their hard work, dedication, and the lasting impact they’ve left on our foundation. We wish them the very best in their future endeavors.
The Murtala Muhammed Foundation is proud to announce that our CEO, Dr. Aisha Muhammed-Oyebode, has been appointed to the Board of Directors at Central Securities Clearing System (CSCS) PLC. This prestigious appointment underscores Dr. Muhammed-Oyebode’s exceptional contributions to governance, financial services, and social impact.
Dr. Muhammed-Oyebode expressed her enthusiasm, stating, “I am honored to join the Board of CSCS, an institution that plays a critical role in the Nigerian capital market.
