Educational Support for Chibok Girls.

Project: Educational Support for Chibok Girls. Theme: Empowering Chibok Girls Through Education Donate Overview Gallery Overview Our mission at the Murtala Muhammed Foundation is to create lasting positive change in the lives of individuals affected by adversity. One of our flagship initiatives, the “Educational Support for Chibok Girls” project, embodies our commitment to this mission. Providing Hope through Education In the wake of the Boko Haram insurgency that struck Northeast Nigeria, the Chibok community faced unimaginable challenges, including the abduction of their girls. Our initiative, which began in 2018, seeks to provide safe and high-quality education to these brave young girls and their relatives, who have endured immense hardships. Making an Impact Since its inception, this initiative has made a significant impact: Direct Beneficiaries: We have sponsored a total of four Chibok girls as direct beneficiaries, offering them educational opportunities outside the country that serve as a beacon of hope for their future. Indirect Beneficiaries: Through the support of generous individuals, we have reached out to over 30 additional individuals, extending the ripple effect of positive change beyond our direct beneficiaries to their families and the community at large. Joining Hands for a Better Future We believe that education is a powerful tool for transformation, and together, we are creating a brighter future for these resilient girls and their community. With your continued support, we can expand our reach and make an even greater impact. Gallery Donate Now Your support matters. Help us expand our impact by donating now. Digital Leadership – Computer 4 Schools Programme (C4S)

Digital Leadership – Computer 4 Schools Programme (C4S) At the Murtala Muhammed Foundation, we are committed to transforming education in underserved communities. The C4S Initiative is a comprehensive program designed to introduce children in small and underdeveloped communities to the world of technology, enhancing their learning experience. Equipping Schools for Success As part of this initiative, we have provided well-equipped computer laboratories to schools, fostering a technology-enabled learning environment. In 2007, we took a significant step by establishing computer laboratories in 56 public schools across Nigeria’s six geopolitical zones, impacting the lives of over 20,000 students. Empowering Educators Recognizing that teachers play a pivotal role in the classroom, we’ve also invested in their development. We have trained 150 secondary school teachers, empowering them with the knowledge and skills needed to effectively incorporate technology into their teaching methods. We believe that for teachers to be true leaders in the classroom, they must possess a deep understanding of how technological devices can facilitate various learning processes. Project Objectives Our primary objectives for the C4S Initiative were: Extensive Student Training: To create a platform where students can receive comprehensive, high-quality, and relevant training on the use of technological devices. Accessible Computer Labs: To make computer laboratories readily available to selected secondary school students, bridging the digital divide. Impact The C4S Initiative has left an indelible mark on our communities. We are proud to share that we have made a total of 78,400 impacts through this initiative, benefiting 100 students annually for 14 years. Learn More About Digital Leadership Donate At the Murtala Muhammed Foundation, we remain dedicated to advancing education, bridging gaps, and empowering the leaders of tomorrow through initiatives like the C4S Initiative.  Together, we can continue making a positive impact on countless lives.
